Position Summary
We’re seeking clinically informed, committed Christians, to work as behavioral health coaches to meet the growing need of people languishing on waiting lists or unable to access mental health care.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide mental-health triage and follow-up to clients.
- Use brief, solution focused, strengths-based coaching interventions to:
- Support clients in developing healthy goals and habits.
- Support clients in connecting to faith-based resources as appropriate.
- Support clients in connecting to clinical resources as appropriate.
Minimum Qualifications
- Alignment with Restored Life’s Statement of Faith and Core Values.
- Flexible schedule.
- Comfort with telehealth technology.
- A bachelor’s degree in any field related to psychology, counseling, human services, pastoral care, theology, or Biblical studies.
- Desire to advance the Gospel through coaching or counseling.
- Desire to advance the mental health professions.
- Desire to contribute to self-service resources for those unable to afford services.
- Willingness to obtain a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) credential from the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaches.
Preferred Qualifications
- Enrollment in a graduate-level, licensure-track, counseling, family therapy, or social work program.
- Eligibility for placement as a graduate-level intern or practicum student.
- One or more of the following:
- Associate Professional Coach (or higher) credential with the International Coach Federation
- Certification from the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaches (Most Preferred), National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, or National Society of Health Coaches.
- Certification from the Christian Counseling Education Foundation, Association of Certified Biblical Counselors, or Association of Biblical Counselors
Success Metrics
- Client outcomes.
- Sessions start on time.
- Sessions end on time.
- Session documentation is completed within 72 hours after the session.
Compensation
1099 contract, $20+ per session hour for associates and higher. Depends on the client’s insurance and your certification or licensure level, education, and training. As a nonprofit, we are committed to keeping our overhead as small as possible and your compensation as high as possible. We’ll handle your marketing, referrals, and billing, while you focus on being an amazing Behavioral Health Coach.
