Position Summary
Mental health clinicians are the main face of Restored Life Counseling. They represent us to our clients and the public in the provision of mental health services to individuals, couples, families, and/or groups.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide various outpatient mental health services with the goal of patient recovery.
- Conduct intakes and monitor individual, group, and family therapies.
- Develop treatment plans and conduct reviews as needed throughout the duration of treatment.
- Provide mental health assessments, counseling, referrals, and intervention services.
- Complete and maintain documentation according to federal and state guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications
- Alignment with Restored Life’s Statement of Faith and Core Values
- For a clinical internship – One or more of the following:
- Enrollment in a graduate degree program in mental health counseling (LPC or LMHC track), and concurrent enrollment in the program’s case conference or equivalent class.
- For an Associate – Both of the following
- Master’s degree in a mental health field.
- A current supervisory license (LMHCA, LAC, or similar, depending on your state).
- For an Independent Clinician – Both of the following:
- Independent Licensure in a mental health field.
- Desire to obtain certification by IITAP, ICEEFT, EMDRIA, or The Gottman Institute.
- For a Specialist Clinician – Both of the following:
- Independent Licensure in a mental health field.
- Full Certification by IITAP, ICEEFT, EMDRIA, or The Gottman Institute.
- For a Clinical Supervisor – Eligibility for NBCC’s ACS credential, or to provide supervision for specialty certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Specialty certification, or desire to obtain one.
- Desire to advance the mental health professions.
- Desire to contribute to self-service resources for those unable to afford services.
Success Metrics
- Client outcomes.
- Sessions start on time.
- Sessions end on time.
- Notes completed within 72 hours of session completion.
Compensation
Interns are currently unpaid. 1099 contract, $40+ per session hour for associates and higher. Depends on the client’s insurance and your licensure level, education, and training. As a nonprofit, we are committed to keeping our overhead as small as possible and your compensation as high as possible. We’ll handle your marketing, referrals, and billing, while you focus on being an amazing Mental Health Clinician.
