Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using restored.life (the “Site”), operated by Restored Life Counseling, a nonprofit organization (“we,” “us,” “our”). By accessing or using the Site you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, please do not use the Site.

The Site is not therapy

Content on this Site — including articles, guides, tools, and the free Personal Challenges Survey — is educational information, not professional counseling, diagnosis, or treatment, and does not create a counselor–client relationship. A counselor–client relationship begins only when you complete our intake process and sign our service agreements. Never disregard professional advice or delay seeking it because of something you read on this Site.

If you are in crisis

This Site is not monitored for emergencies. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, call 911. For a mental health crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), available 24/7.

Counseling services

Counseling services are governed by the intake documents you sign as a client — including our Notice of Privacy Practices, professional disclosure statements, and Good Faith Estimate — not by these website Terms. Services are available in person in Glendale, Arizona and by telehealth to clients located in states where our clinicians are licensed (currently Arizona and Washington).

Payments and donations

If you purchase a service or make a donation, you represent that you have the legal right to use the payment method provided and that the information you supply is true and complete. Payments and donations are processed by third-party processors subject to our Privacy Policy; we do not store your card details. Donations to Restored Life Counseling may be tax-deductible; consult your tax advisor.

Intellectual property

The Site and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Restored Life Counseling and its licensors, protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Our free resources are offered for personal, non-commercial use; you may share them freely with attribution, but may not sell them or present them as your own. Our trademarks may not be used without our prior written consent.

Links to other websites

The Site contains links to third-party websites and services (including recovery groups, apps, and books we recommend) that we do not own or control. We assume no responsibility for their content, privacy policies, or practices, and a link is not a guarantee of their offerings. Some book links are affiliate links, which may earn us a small commission at no cost to you. We advise you to read the terms and privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.

Acceptable use and termination

You agree not to misuse the Site — including attempting to breach its security, scrape or republish its content commercially, or use it to harass others. We may suspend or terminate access to the Site at our discretion for violations of these Terms.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Site is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Nothing in these Terms limits the professional obligations we owe clients under applicable law and licensure.

Indemnification, governing law, and changes

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Restored Life Counseling from claims arising out of your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Site. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above, and continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance.
